At the Sierra de Gredos, Spain, The wind was blowing tremendously strong intensifying the wind chill effect and the fog was preventing us to see more than 50m ahead.

The Aigüestortes National Park trekking tour is one of may favourites. The Park is located in the central area of the Pyrenees and is the only National Park situated in Catalonia.
This is Day 1 of the Aigüestortes National Park trekking tour at the Spanish Pyrenees.
On the trekking tour to Aigüestortes y Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, Day 2 is spent on the walk between Refugio d’Amitges and Refugio Colomérs when the group is still in the adjustment phase.
Hiking from Refugio Colomèrs to Refugio Restanca is not too strenuous. It is Day 3 of the Aigüestortes National Park trekking tour and a 7.5Km long walk, and with 600m of elevation gain and with 720m of descents.
Day4, probably the shortest day of the eight days of the tour.
In front of us, a short walk, and there’s no hurry to get to the Ventosa i Calvell mountain hut, so we can leave Refugio Restanca a little later.
